The Julius Hackethal Foundation is a charitable trust foundation dedicated to the following areas:
Projects supported by the Julius Hackethal Foundation must meet the following criteria:
3.1. Applications can be submitted informally throughout the year, in writing, along with the required documents listed under 3.3, to the office of the Julius Hackethal Foundation.
3.2. Applications sent via phone, fax, or email will not be accepted. Processing can take up to 4 weeks before a decision is communicated.
3.3. Submissions must include a meaningful description of the intended purpose, a detailed cost estimate, and a financial plan specifying any other potential funding sources.
3.4. There is no entitlement to a justification for rejections, nor is there a legal claim by the applicant to receive allocations. Even if the funding guidelines are fulfilled, there is no obligation of performance on the part of the foundation. The foundation decides at its own dutiful discretion and based on the resources available to it.
3.5. Funding approval letters are issued in writing from the foundation's office.
4.1. Approved amounts can only be disbursed after the conclusion (signing) of a formal agreement between the Julius Hackethal Foundation and the applicant.
4.2. The venture must be briefly outlined in the agreement, referencing the original funding application.
4.3. The applicant must confirm that they are familiar with the guidelines of the Julius Hackethal Foundation and accept the resulting duties for the applicant.
4.4. The following funding conditions must be included in the agreement:
4.5. Approved funds must be deployed efficiently and economically. When calculating personnel resources, compensations may not exceed the scale of public service regulations. Additional clauses can be integrated into the agreement.
5.1. Those responsible for the funded project are required to maintain a timely record regarding the use of the allocated resources. This must include a detailed comparison of projected versus actual costs, as well as projected versus actual funding received.
5.2. Verification must be provided by submitting invoices and receipts relating to both the total amount and the funded share.
5.3. If the duration of a funded measure extends beyond one year, a preliminary proof of use under compliance with the above regulations must be submitted within 4 weeks after the end of each year.
5.4. The foundation is not a contracting party for any employees engaged through its funding resources. Any public announcement of the funding must be coordinated with the foundation's office.
The disbursement of financial resources occurs on call after approval of the application and upon declaration by the applicant that work on the project specified in the application has commenced.
Approved funding that has not been drawn down after 18 months will expire unless a later usage is agreed upon in due time before this period ends.
The recipient of the funds is obligated to fully or partially repay the funding if:
The Julius Hackethal Foundation reserves the right to revoke its willingness to receive funding inquiries at any time or to alter its funding guidelines.
The principles laid down in these funding guidelines serve solely the transparency of the operations of the Julius Hackethal Foundation.
No claims of any kind against the Julius Hackethal Foundation can be derived from them.
